It's 494 BCE and you're watching the Roman Republic form before your very eyes. You're watching the citizens of Rome fighting amongst themselves. One group, the patricians, seem to make all the decisions. Another group, the plebeians, are tired of being treated as poorly for their hard work. If Rome's citizens can't get along, how can this republic eventually turn into the one of the world's largest, and most powerful, empires?
